Hey this is still abandonware and should still be preserved here. The Extended Edition has numerous issues including broken netcode and is not a valid replacement for the original sadly.

Hey thanks for the game. There is one issue though, whenever I play random match i instantly become victorious without starting to play so I cannot play any single player match

Private Network works fine.

I still got a Problem with online Matches. Voobly has a Problem with the patch Version “?”. If you can patch your software by yourselft (change the files manually) it could work.

let me know, if you found the right patches.

AoM works great, but for some reason the Titans expansion has messed up graphics ( no shadowing, messed up line of sight, and the map loads in squares under the line of sight )
any ideas?

it has a texture problem: buildings places can overlap, revealed map has the sae lightness as my visual range and terrain near water looks plainly blue
I tried to reinstall and the same error persists, how could I fix this?

I followed the instructions to the t, but only AOM will work. AOMX will boot up and crash every time before it gets to the main screen with an “initialization error.” I have troubleshooted it many times and in different ways, but it doesn’t work. Help?
