I have done everything I was supposed to and more but all it did was install a hollow useless shell of a game.

So, i found out that i have copied crack to a wrong folder. When you install the game, windows opens some random file that looks like the place where the game is installed but it’s not.
You should litteraly go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Buena Vista Games\Desperate Housewives , or wherever you have it installed and copy the crack there.

Instead of using crack, you can download SecureROM Loader, extract it, copy version.dll file in the installation game folder. Then you can just click on “Desperate Housewives” normal setup and it will run.
