Hi everyone! Thought I’d pitch in to help
Make sure to extract the game
Go into files ->
Game Files->
Assets->
Then just delete the cursor folder.
To have local save, just make sure to run the game as administrator!

Does anyone know how to get it to save progress locally? In the assets I see the high scores, and it’s retaining my character name & the high scores of my last playthrough, but sending me back to the tutorial. Is there a way to force progress to where I left off at least even if it overwrote or didn’t save my prev. scores? Can I make a new directory for saves if it’s missing one?

In reply to Alexandra. Hey so a fix to this is to get out of full screen mode. It's not the best cause the game becomes small, but the graphics are much better and does not crash

When I try to open the game, I get past the PlayFirst logo and then the game crashes when it tries to load.

(This comment is from another user on another Diner Dash games but it works too ! thank you ) If you’ve downloaded this recently and are having issues regarding the cursor, I recommend running the game in windowed mode, and then going into the assets folder > cursor folder and deleting the cursor image files. Game runs like a dream now!
