Halo: Combat Evolved is a 2001 military science fiction first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft Game Studios. The first game of the Halo franchise, it was released as a launch title for the Xbox gaming system on November 15, 2001.

Text instructions (how to play on Windows)

  1. Download the “Halo_Combat_Evolved_Windows_Setup.zip” file from the link above. Make sure you download the file properly and that your internet does not disconnect while downloading.
  2. Open the downloaded .zip file and extract the “Halo_Combat_Evolved_Windows_Setup” folder to your desktop. You will need to use a software such as WinRAR to do this.
  3. Open the extracted “Halo_Combat_Evolved_Windows_Setup” folder and then open the “Game Files” folder.
  4. Double click on the file called “Setup.Exe” and your game setup should now launch. They will ask you to insert a CD key, use: PYXMD-WDT9G-4378Y-72KXT-FTFYQ
  5. Finish installing the game.
  6. Once the game has finished installing, you can launch Halo: Combat Evolved using the game’s desktop shortcut.
  7. Optional: Download the “HaloCE_patch1.0.10_Windows_En.zip” file and run the “halopc-patch-1.0.10.exe” file inside. Run the setup for the game patch.
  8. Enjoy the game!
