It’s strange because I just finished the game.
And I didn’t have any technical problems with it.

Especially the first season, it was the best thing ever made about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the video game based on this series when I was a kid. So, I only played this game recently while rewatching the 2003 series.

What can I say about the game, as a child, I would have been absolutely thrilled, but now considering my gaming experience, the game initially tried very hard to follow the events of the cartoon, dialogues are identical, locations are repeated just like in the original, but closer to the middle, there are changes. Maybe it’s good or bad. But I didn’t like it very much.

Also, the game felt more childish than the first season of the series. The darkness disappeared, there were even more jokes, and silly dialogues. On a medium level, everything plays out like Dark Souls, it’s brutal. I played as Donatello, and from the second to last chapter, with the dungeons with monsters, it started to feel like sheer Hell.

Bots completely take you down, I haven’t played on the keyboard like a piano in a long time, and in the last chapter when I fought Stockman, I just lowered the difficulty level. Because it was impossible to pass.

In general, the game has difficulty. At least as Donatello, I noticed it’s much easier to play as Leonardo.

So here are the cons I identified:
– Half of the locations do not match the original
– More childish humor and dialogues
– Broken balance
– Weak musical accompaniment (The series has very energetic soundtracks, but in the game, they made some melody references but it rarely plays, and often some light music that sometimes doesn’t match the events of the game).

So, despite my strong love for TMNT 2003,
I give it 4 out of 5 (Objectively, without nostalgia, 3.5 out of 5).

I downloaded “TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES” from this site and upon downloading it, I’m having issues with the music in the intro, the battle-music, as well as the transition between stages.

I checked all the audio settings and definitely didn’t find anything enlightening. Does anyone have any idea how to fix it? I would be very grateful.
