As others have stated, the game is no longer available on Steam as it has been replaced by the “Remastered” version. Hell, even the link to the Steam store posted on this page contains the following text:

“Notice: At the request of the publisher, Rome: Total War™ – Collection is unlisted on the Steam store and will not appear in search.”

While it’s technically NOT abandonware since you can get it for free after buying the Remastered version, it should still be reuploaded here for archival purposes at least.

Looks like the game is abandonware now. The original is no longer available for purchase on Steam, as it was replaced with the “remastered” edition.
