I have got the game running using the download from this site and a no cd version but I am having some issues. It launches fine but no movies/cutscenes play, some assets are missing like the invisible boat mobile sign and the utility belt that lets you sue items isnt there either.

download this version, then download a no cd version, extract both exe’s, click on properties for the version from this website, then open file location, delete the original exe and then copy the no cd version into the where you deleted the orignal from then game should work, if not run as administgrator

i just figured out this morning on how to get this game to run on modern machines, Elena comment is outdated if youre stuck on what they were trying to do dont worry, ill try to walk you through it all, so the main problem with running this game you have to run it a no cd version of the game, which is what that comment was actually explaining how to do, to do that now that comment links are dead ill just give basic instructions and youll have to find your own backup/version of the nocd, install the game using this page and then look up a no cd version of this game, theres multiple sites for it, replace the exe that goes on your desktop by replacing it with the exe of a no cd version you extracted, if you run the exe after this it should run the game and to my knowledge you dont need to run any compatibility with it or anything, just replace the normal exe with the nocd version and it should work. i am currently running this game on my windows 7 and it works fine, im not sure if it will be the same for windows 8 10 or 11. apologies if it doesnt work for those OS.
