Dentro desta pasta, você deseja encontrar a pasta chamada “Meus arquivos Battle for Middle-earth ™ II”. Você deseja abrir essa pasta e, em seguida, deseja copiar e colar o arquivo “Options.ini” da etapa 3 na pasta “Meus arquivos Battle for Middle-earth ™ II”.

For anyone still curious, theres a seperate launcher called the “All in One BFME Launcher”. Currently trying with an installation done with these files here. Launches with mounted MDS.

This seperate launcher claims its able to download all BFME titles and run without CDs mounted/needed. Also has workshop and fan-patches included

Im hesitant to post links but you can find it on ModDB.
Im commenting as soon after my first skirmish.

I'm not familiar with such a problem, but i would recommend trying to lower processor performance to be 99% it worked for constant crashing to desktop problem, but hey if it's crashing from the beginning I'd also recommend turning off ALL windows security measures because they're interfering a lot with these old games' algorithms , try it I'm not an expert but could work

In reply to Thunder. you should make a virtual cd card , downloaded Wincdemu and try again after the virtual cd slot with a 9kb mds file or so ( they're at the original file ), then go back to original file and install
