preinstalled no longer works and the other file wont let me mount cd1

You need the 4GB Patch by NT Core or do it by your own:
Get an CFF explorer and set the flag to >2GB memory:
Choose the exe, go to the left menu, click file header, click “App can handle >2gb address space” or “Large Address Aware”, save.

In reply to jeff. oh lol, I remember 1999 when RollerCoaster Tycoon demo (12.5 Mb) took about 1,5 hour to download and I had to use download resumer to not have to download it again from the start if my dial-up got disconnected :-D

No errors but my actors are all just black voids. Like their clothes, faces, everything is jet black. Anyone know of a way to fix it?

The game opened then crashed i downloaded a patch and it wont open now
