ScummMV is an emulator for very old disc games and they have a few files fixes aswell.

Had to convert the NRG file to ISO first, this app worked for that: https://www.nrgtoiso.com/

Then had to run the program in Windows 95 compatibility mode, selected through properties for NHC.exe. Bit of a hassle, but got there!
