In case you haven’t got it – in the graphics settings there should be an option that says “windowed” and you can turn it on and off.

In reply to Alistair. Type into your search bar on windows simscs.exe and make sure to click the correct one. You can then create a shortcut link

the game wont load for me. i double click to start it, it starts up, but crashes and closes at the intro.

In reply to bluemonster. Yes use the Graphics Rule Maker mentioned in this forum. It will run in windowed but it will work

I have my original disc, but my newest machine doesn’t have an optical drive. It was such a pain to have to keep attaching the external one just to launch the game. Thank you so much for the fixed exe file.
