Game Description
The Sims (also known as The Sims 1 or The Sims Classic) is a life-simulation video game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts on February 4, 2000 for Windows, and July 25, 2000 for Mac OS X. The game only has a single-player mode. There is no goal defined in The Sims, and players must develop their characters as they go through different life stages. Characters which the player controls can interact with other in-game characters, develop relationships (both negative and positive) and can even start families together. Characters can also be assigned certain tasks to develop life skills, which enables them to progress in their careers and increase their salaries.

I Installed it and everything looked fine, but then I realized there are no NPCs other that the workers, and I can’t get into the cab to go anywhere other than Old Town and to the Magic Neighborhood through the magic hole (Cause they’re not technically a cab, I pressume). Any ideas on what´s happening? Please, I already built and furnished a whole castle 🙁
I’ve installed the game before (I deleted it) and now when I want to reinstall it, the button doesn’t work.
Does anyone know how I can fix it?
The setup file does not open after I mounted the image of the ISO file. Any idea what I can do?
i cant save the game
everytime i try to run the game it says “cant find the sims data directory”
Successfully installed everything and loaded the game. Get as far as the neighbourhood overview screen, but cannot click on anything or even exit. Everything is frozen.
Managed to install and run, but when I go to make a character it wont give me any funds to build or move in. Also can’t save game…
Same. I am bummed out!
Does anyone know how to have a baby?
When your Sims are kissing and hugging a lot, one of them may ask another one: “Should we have a baby?”. Then you click “Yes”. Sometimes an adoption service may phone you and ask if you wanna adopt a baby. You can also click “Yes” or “No”.
