I found a solution to play this game on modern Windows. You’ll need a file extractor like WinRAR, 7-Zip, or NanaZip (the one I use is recommended). Additionally, you’ll need to download dgVoodoo 2 (ask the AI ​​- it’s very easy to use).

1- Extract the file containing the two CDs in ISO format. Use NanaZip to extract the contents of CD1 to a folder. Then extract the contents of CD2 to the CD1 folder and replace the existing files.

2- Install using autorun.exe. Avoid installing GameSpy, DirectX 8, or any additional components.

3- Copy the Toca Race Driver Update v11.120.exe file to the root folder where you installed the game (for example, I installed it in a folder called TocaRaceDriver on my D: drive). Run and install the update. 4- Copy the “magic” contents to the root folder where you installed the game and replace the existing files.

5- Copy the contents of the MX/x86 folder from the Voodoo .zip file that I asked you to download earlier to the root folder where you installed the game. Then copy the executable file inside that same .zip file, called “dgVoodooCpl.exe”, to the game’s root folder, and you’re done.

Use the AI ​​to learn how to use the program. With this, you can run the game at maximum quality without compatibility issues and at 60 FPS.

did that but asks me to insert the disc (even tho is correctly mounted)

Run the autorun file as Windows XP (Service pack 3) and when the game is installed run the shortcut the same way.

Copy all files to hdd and install from your hard drive not from iso.

Bro thanks so much I have tried on and off to fix this and usually I am pretty good at doing this type of thing. Thanks Bro! It works and was very helpful. Weird how you had to do both CDs at the same time. Mounting it to a disk drive etc wasnt working. Cheers! Legend.

I’ve got the same issue. Can mount, and get the game to attempt installation from the mounted drives, but the installation aborts after starting saying ‘error reading install configuration.’

Can’t get this working. Mount it fine etc just says the CD install stops and can’t finish the install. Eh step up begins and then stops.
Can we get this as a complete working file instead of a ISO?
