Future Products? ---------------- For the latest information on other products from Sunstorm Interactive Inc., please visit our web page at http://www.sunstorm.net or http://outdoors.wizworks.com Troubleshooting notes on Deer Hunter 5 -------------------------------------- 1. You must have a DirectX compatible Sound and Video Card for Deer Hunter 5 to operate properly. The latest version of DirectX is included on the install CD for your convenience. 2. Deer Hunter 5 is also a LARGE game so we recommend a computer system with at least 64 MB of RAM. Of course, the more memory the better! 3. If you are experiencing display problem, problems with the graphics palette, cursor problems or other performance issues, we strongly recommend that you run Deer Hunter 5 in FULL SCREEN mode. This can be set from the Deer Hunter 5 'Settings' screen. 4. If Deer Hunter 5 is running very sluggish it could be because you don't have enough free space on the hard drive. Try creating additional space if you have less than 100 megabytes of free space on your hard drive. 5. LAPTOPS - If you cannot run Deer Hunter 5 on your laptop computer, you should check to insure that you are running the game in Windowed mode. This can be set from the Deer Hunter 5 'Settings' screen. Also, Deer Hunter 5 REQUIRES a video card with an onboard graphics accelerator. You can also open the default.cfg file with notepad and change the setting set sys_fullscreen from 0 to 1. 6. If you see deer disappearing while in the water, turn OFF the FAST SCOPES option. 7. If the game fails to run on your computer, the most likely culprit is your video card. Check and make sure that you have a video card that has a built-in graphics accelerator. Also, make sure you have the latest and greatest driver for your video card.
