INSTALLATION To install the game, you need to insert FIM Speedway Grand Prix 2 CD into your CD-ROM drive. Installer will be launched automatically after few seconds. If it doesn't happen, you need to launch Setup.exe program on the CD-ROM. There are following options to choose: INSTALL – the game will be installed on your computer, README – a file containing additional information about the game will be opened, WWW TECHLAND – website of the game publisher, Techland, will be opened automatically, WYJD – installer will be closed. In some cases you might need to install DirectX 8.1. You can do that by launching \DirectX\DX81pol.exe file from game CD-ROM on Windows98/ME/XP system (or DX81NTeng.exe on Windows 2000). III. DEFAULT CONTROLS LAYOUT Controls: cursor keys (arrows) - steering the motorbike M - clutch/wheelie B - look back F1-F4 - switching views between players Space - stopping a movie Aborting a game - Esc IV: GAME PERFORMANCE It's possible to increase game performance (animation smoothness), at a cost of graphics quality by changing video options in the game. V: PROBLEMS DISPLAYING GRAPHICS In case of any problems with graphics it is recommended to install the latest graphics card drivers. NVIDIA Problems with Detonator drivers version 40.** were found. It is recommended to install the latest version of Detonator drivers, 41.09 or higher. VI: FAQ Frequently Asked Questions Q: Why does an error message appear when I launch the game? A: Check if you have the latest graphics card drivers installed. They are usually available for download on your graphics card manufacturer's website. Q: Why doesn't the game launch? A: Check if you have DirectX 8.1 or later installed. If not, install it from game CD-ROM by launching \DirectX\DX81pol.exe file on Windows98/ME/XP system (or DX81NTeng.exe on Windows 2000).
