Hardware requirements
---------------------

To play Globetrotter you need a PC with Windows 98. The machine must be at least a Pentium MMX 166Mhz, 64Mb RAM and a DirectSound compatible sound card, but we recommend a Pentium II 200Mhz, 64Mb ram and a Direct3D compatible graphics card.


Installation
------------

To install, simply put the Globetrotter CD in your CD drive. After a moment, the installation program will start up by itself. If you have disabled autorun, you must start the installation program by yourself: choose 'Run' from the Start-menu in Windows, choose 'Browse' and start setup.exe from the CD.

You can choose between a small or large setup, whichever suits you the best. The more files installed on your harddisk, the better performance in the game.

After the installation you can start Globetrotter either from the Start-menu in Windows, or by clicking on the Globetrotter icon on your desktop (your background screen).


Settings
--------

Optimise Globetrotter: Before you start a game, you can change the settings on the back of your savegames - click on the lower right-hand corner. You might want to set 3D-graphics to 'hardware', which is faster and better if your PC is not too old.
