IMPORTANT: It is highly recommended not to run other Windows applications at the same time as this game. _________________________________________________________________ TABLE OF CONTENTS SECTION 1 - HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS SECTION 2 - INSTALLATION PROCEDURES SECTION 3 - SUPPORT _________________________________________________________________ SECTION 1 - HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED: Windows® 98SE/ME/2000 SP4/XP SP1¹, Pentium® III 450MHz, 128MB RAM, 8x CD-ROM, 700MB Hard Disk space 32MB Video RAM ¹Administrator privileges are required to properly install the program on Windows 2000 or Windows XP. _________________________________________________________________ SECTION 2 - INSTALLATION PROCEDURES IMPORTANT: It is highly recommended not to run other Windows applications at the same time as this game. Insert the game CD. You are automatically prompted to install or run the game. Alternatively, you can run Hoyle_Puzzle_Games_2007.EXE directly from the top-level of the game CD. NOTE: In some Windows 98 systems, it has been found that simultaneously exiting Hoyle Puzzle Games and ejecting the program CD will occasionally result in a Windows system error. To avoid such issues, please wait until exiting completely from the game before ejecting the program CD. To uninstall the game, double-click the uninstaller icon found in the Hoyle Puzzle Games 2007 group (in the Hoyle group of the Start Menu). Alternatively, you can uninstall Hoyle Puzzle Games 2007 by doing the following: click the Start menu, click Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click on the Add/Remove Programs icon. _________________________________________________________________ SECTION 3 - SUPPORT Technical Support Please visit our technical support knowledgebase at http://support.encoreusa.com/ and have the following information available: Product name • Type of computer, amount of ram, video card and system information • A description of the problem, including any error messages • A list of steps that lead to the problem If you are unable to resolve your issue using the knowledgebase articles, you may contact us through email via our web-form support section by clicking on the link to submit an Online Support Request. If you contact us using our web-form, please remember to include the basic hardware details and we would also ask that you attach your “dxdiag” file. To do this please: 1. Click on start 2. Click on Run 3. Type dxdiag and click ok 4. The DirectX diagnosis program should now start up. (This may take a few minutes) 5. Click below on “save all information” and a file by the name of dxdiag.txt will be created. You should save this to your desktop. While using our web-form, you will be prompted to attach the file to your request. This will allow us to provide the best possible support regarding your system. Unfortunately, we do not provide game play or “how-to” support on the products we distribute. Our tech support is limited to ensure that your software runs on your computer as designed. Many of our products have built in readme files or help files that accompany them. There is often helpful information and tips in these files.
