You can likely download the latest versions of your video card's drivers from the website of the manufacturer of your video card. 2. Installation To Install 1. Start at the Windows desktop. 2. Insert the Law & Order Dead on the Money Disc 1 CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. The Law & Order Dead on the Money startup screen will appear. 3. Select the Install button and follow the on-screen instructions to install the program. If the startup window does not appear automatically, you can install the program manually 1. Select the Start button on your Windows taskbar and choose Run. 2. Type DSETUP.EXE in the Open field. (If your CD-ROM drive uses a letter other than D, substitute that letter for D.) 3. Select the OK button and follow the on-screen instructions to install Law & Order Dead on the Money. By default, Law & Order Dead on the Money will install itself in the following directory CPROGRAM FILESLAW AND ORDER. You can select a different directory during the installation. To Play After successfully installing the program, select the Play button on the Law & Order Dead on the Money startup screen. The startup screen will appear each time the Disc 1 is inserted into the CD-ROM drive. Or click the Start button, then select Programs, Law and Order, and Law & Order Dead on the Money. To Uninstall Click the Start button, then select Programs, Law and Order, and Uninstall Law & Order Dead on the Money. Note that although the uninstall program will delete all the data files that have been installed by the game, you will need to delete the Law and Order folder (which includes your saved games) manually. 3. FAQ Q. Is there any way to speed up the crime scene and other scenes that can be searched A. You can increase the performance of search scene by choosing Options from the Main Menu, selecting the Faster option and turning off Background Sounds and Music. Q. I see blocks that flash on the screen in the crime scene when I move my mouse. What can I do A. Open your computer's Control Panel and double-click Display. Select the Settings tab, and choose the Advanced button. Select the Troubleshooting tab. In the Hardware Acceleration group, drag the slider from the Full setting to the next setting to the left. Click OK, then OK again. Q. Any other tips on improving performance A. We recommend that you exit out of all Windows applications before playing Law & Order Dead on the Money.
