System Requirements ------ o Windows 98se/ME/2K/XP o 500Mhz Processor (700Mhz or better recommended) o 32Mb of RAM o 20MB available HD space o 3D video card with at least 8MB of VRAM o DirectX 7 or later 2. Installation ------ Double click the "nanosaur_install.exe" icon. This will install the game's files to your hard drive. Under Windows, an IFD start menu item will be created, and the game's icon and uninstaller will be added. You can get the latest version by visiting our web page: 3. The Manual ------ Nanosaur is a very easy game to play, and as such there is not a manual. There is a help screen in the game, available from the main menu. 6. General Controls ------ Arrows (and WASD keys) move the Nanosaur 'Space' Fires current weapon. ALT jumps (press again to double jump) 'C' causes Nano to try and pickup an egg 'Q' Increases JetPack power (turn on) 'Z' Decreases JetPack power (turn off) 'G' Toggles global map on/off F9 Toggles Music on/off F10 Toggles Ambient sounds on/off - (minus) lowers sound effects volume + (plus or =) raises effects volume < (comma) swivel camera left > (period) swivel camera right 7. Gameplay ------ The goal of Nanosaur is to locate all the eggs and return them (individually, you can only carry one at a time) to the transporter (indicated by your directional arrow). Of course, lots of obsticals and dangerous dinosaurs will make your task challenging. 8. The Story ------ You have been sent back in time to rescue the last dinosaur eggs before the meteor crashes into the planet and the dinosaurs become extinct. It's up to you to save them! 9. Technical Support ------ Before asking us for help, please see the section below ("Technical Help") and try to resolve your problem yourself. We are not a large company and every technical support call takes away from our ability to develop games. If after reading the technical help you still have questions about or problems the game, try out online support database: And finally, if you still are having trouble contact technical support. Technical Help ------ Things to try first: 1) Be sure to use the latest version of DirectX (for Windows) DirectX: 2) Make sure you are using the latest version of the drivers for your video and sound. 3) If the infobar area is not drawing around the score, timer and other items, try turning on the "Infobar missing" option in the configuration dialog (from the main menu). 11. Configuration ------ Nanosaur is configured in-game via the "Options" menu. The defaults should work for all but the slowest computers. 12.
