(1) Minimum hardware requirements


    Supported operating systems :

        Microsoft Windows 98
        Microsoft Windows Millenium Edition
        Microsoft Windows 2000
        Microsoft Windows XP

    Supported hardware :

        Intel Pentium III 500MHz or above
        AMD Athlon 700MHz or above

        128 MB RAM (for Windows 2000 and Windows XP)
        64MB RAM   (for Windows 98 and Windows Millenium Edition)

        DirectX 9.0b compatible sound card

        16x speed CDROM/DVD drive

    Supported video cards:

        Pac-Man World 2 has been tested and designed to work
        on video cards using the following chipsets:

            ATI
               
                Radeon 7500
                Radeon 8500
                Radeon 9000 or above

(1a) Tweaking Performance


    To increase the frame-rate on low end PC, set the Resolution to 640x480 in
    the Graphics Settings in the setup program (this is the default) and Graphic
    details to Low.
    
        Please ensure you have the latest drivers for you video card.

        Other video cards not in this list may work but are unsupported

(2) Recommended hardware requirements

    For optimal performance we recommend a PC with at least the
    following hardware:

        Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon, 1.5GHz or higher
        GeForce 3 or Radeon 9000 series with 64MB RAM or higher

(3) DirectX 9.0b

    Pac-Man World (TM) 2 requires DirectX 9.0b. When you install the game you
    will be asked whether you want to install DirectX 9.0b If you have
    already installed DirectX 9.0b or want to install it later, please
    un-check the appropriate option.

(4) Creative Labs EAX

    Pac-Man World (TM) 2 supports Creative Labs EAX [TM] on supported sound cards.
    When you install the game you will be asked whether you want to
    install the EAX drivers.

    To enable EAX support please go to Audio Settings in the main game
    launcher.

(5) Dolby Digital

Pac-Man World (TM) 2 supports Dolby Digital(TM) on Nvidia nForce® or other 
motherboards/soundcards containing the Dolby Digital Interactive Content 
Encoder required for Dolby Digital audio

(6) Joystick Support

Pac-Man World (TM) 2 can be played with a joystick / game-pad provided the 
device has two analog sticks and at least eight buttons.

When you select a joystick in Controller Settings the set-up program will 
attempt to auto-configure the controls for joysticks which it can recognize.

However, please ensure that the joystick axes are mapped correctly to the 
movement and camera controls. Some joysticks / game-pads can have analog  
buttons which behave in a similar way to analog sticks – if these are mapped 
to the camera controls then the game may not function as expected e.g. camera 
spinning constantly.

Note : The mouse control is not advisable in Pac-Man World (TM) 2 game. Use a 
Joystick or Gamepad to play effectively.
