LICENSE AGREEMENT

Do not use the program until you have read and agreed to this license agreement. If you do not accept the terms, please return the package unopened. Otherwise, Ahead Multimedia will assume that you have agreed to the content of this agreement. 

You may use this program on a stand-alone system only. You may not network the product or use it on several computers at the same time.

You may not sell or transfer reproductions of the software or the package. You may not rent or lease the product without prior written permission from Ahead Multimedia.

You understand and agree that this is a valuable product of Ahead Multimedia and that it is protected under copyright laws. You will take all reasonable steps to protect this product from unauthorized use, copying and dissemination.

Legal dispute will be handled in Sweden according to Swedish law.

Installing the program
-----------------------
The installer will add an icon to your Program Manager (the Start menu in Windows 95).

Windows 95
-----------
No installation is required since the program will start automatically when the CD-ROM is inserted. However, an installer is available, see instructions below.

1. Insert the CD-ROM and select "Run" on the File menu in the Program Manager (the Start menu in Windows 95).

2. On the command line, type the letter of your CD-ROM drive followed by ":\install" (for example, if the letter of your CD-ROM drive is "D", type D:\install) and click "OK" in the following dialog.

3. When installation is complete, start the program by double-clicking the "Pippi Start" icon. In Windows 3.1 and 3.11, the icon is located in the program group called "Pippi Longstocking". In Windows 95, the icon is located in "Pippi Longstocking" under Programs on the Start menu.

System requirements
-------------------
- IBM compatible PC with 386, 486/66 MHz or Pentium processor, with Windows 3.x or Windows 95 operating system
- 8 MB of RAM minimum (for Windows 95, 16 MB is recommended)
- Double-speed CD-ROM player or faster
- Color monitor with 640 x 480 pixels and 256 colors or better
- External loudspeakers are recommended
- Sound card (Soundblaster compatible)

Warranty
--------
Ahead Multimedia warrants the disk to be free from defects for 90 days from the date of purchase.

Ahead Multimedia will in no event be responsible for financial losses or damages, whether incidental or consequential.
