Police: Tactical Training is a training simulator, which teaches accuracy and split second decision-making. The game consists of an indoor target range, alley walk scenarios, and different types of sniper training scenarios. Not only will you train in the daytime but you will also train at night with the aid of light amplification goggles and scope. Remember to keep one eye on the clock and one on the target. Good luck to you! -------------------- KEYS YOU SHOULD KNOW -------------------- 1 = 9mm 2 = Sniper 3 = Shotugn 4 = Mp5 [ ] = Scroll through weapons Right Mouse Button = Force reload on your weapon + = Zoom in (Sniper Gun) - = Zoom out (Sniper Gun) Enter = Quick outside scope look (Sniper Gun) Backspace = Skip target (used for sniper range levels. When you see an innocent target it will force it to pop down and move to the next) N = Night vision on/off (only night levels) Tab = Interface on/off Q = Qualify your weapon (target range only) C = Clear bullet holes in Target Ranges ---------------------- QUALIFYING YOUR WEAPON ---------------------- The weapon being used in a level needs to be qualified first. So go into the target range to qualify your weapon. Hit Q when your ready, if you get the minimal score needed it's qualified and can be used in a level that allows that weapon. --------------------- ENHANCING PERFORMANCE --------------------- There are many ways to enhance your frame rate in Police Tactical Training. We included a detail setting, which will take away models from levels to give you better performance. To change your detail setting enters the "Option" menu from the main menu, and click on "Performance". There you can click on the detail setting to change it from HIGH, MEDIUM or LOW. On faster machines we've noticed that high resolutions doesn't effect your frame rate that much, so experiment to find the best setting for your machine. ---------------- TROUBLE SHOOTING ---------------- 1. You must have a DirectX compatible Sound and Video Card for Police Tactical Training to operate properly. The latest version of DirectX is included on the install CD for your convenience. 2. Police Tactical Training is also a LARGE game so we recommend a computer system with at least 32 MB of RAM. Of course, the more memory the better! 3. If you are experiencing display problem, problems with the graphics palette, cursor problems or other performance issues, we strongly recommend that you run Police Tactical Training in FULL SCREEN mode. This can be set from the Police Tactical Training 'Settings' screen. 4. If Police Tactical Training is running very sluggish it could be because you don't have enough free space on the hard drive. Try creating additional space if you have less than 50 megabytes of free space on your hard drive. 5. LAPTOPS - If you cannot run Police Tactical Training on your laptop computer, you should check to insure that you are running the game in Windowed mode. This can be set from the Police Tactical Training 'Settings' screen. 7. If the game fails to run on your system it could be because you don't have DirectX compatible drivers. Run the DirectX diagnostic (Dxdiag.exe in your "C:\Program Files\DirectX\Setup" directory.) and make sure you have certified drivers. 8.
