There could be two reasons for this. The first is that the you are playing on a slow machine (486DX66) or the install you have chosen requires to load a lot of graphics off the cd. 1.) If you are playing on a 486 machine it is recommended that you play the match in either the results or brief highlights mode 2.) Reinstall the game and use the custom option to install more files onto the hard drive. As a general rule of thumb the more files you copy to the hard drive during installation the faster the game will run. Q2.) The game does not work at all. A.) The most common reason for the game not working is that the DirectX5 drivers are not certified. You can check that these drivers are certified by checking in c:\Program Files\Directx\setup\ then run the DXSETUP.EXE file. This will report if the drivers are working correctly. Premier Manager 98 will automatically install Directx5 onto your machine when it installs the game. If you are still experiencing problems then contact the hardware manufacturer.
