The setup program with start automatically. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the game. If Autoplay is not activated, start the setup program by double clicking on My Computer, the icon of your CD-ROM drive and then SETUP.EXE. __ Once the game has been installed, you can start the game from the Windows Start menu or by inserting the CD called TV GIANT. The CD must be inserted in the drive in order for the game to function. __ Warning: the CD is copy protected. ________________________________________ UNINSTALLING THE GAME Select Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. Select TV GIANT, then click Add/Remove. This will uninstall the main program and the data files TV GIANT, but will not remove files created by the player during the game (such as saved games). These specific files can be removed manually. ________________________________________ TROUBLESHOOTING You will find below a list of suggestions to help you solve problems related to the use of this software. If these should not solve the problem, we suggest you contact technical support. If your computer crashes or you encounter display problems while playing, we suggest you try the following: • Reboot your computer (reset) before you continue to play. • Contact the manufacturer of your graphic card in order to install the most up-to-date drivers. • Contact the manufacturer of your sound card in order to install the most up-to-date drivers. • Deactivate your screensaver. • Deactivate your monitor’s energy saving features. PROBLEMS RELATED TO GRAPHIC CARDS GENERAL ADVICE If you should encounter display problems while playing, we recommend you install the most recent drivers for your graphic card. These are generally available on the hardware manufacturer’s web site. For additional information, please refer to your hardware documentation or contact your vendor. If you still encounter problems after updating the drivers, you can try to use the reference drivers provided by the chipset manufacturer. These drivers are generally not supported by the graphic card manufacturer and have to be installed at your own risk. If unsure, contact your graphic card manufacturer’s technical support before doing anything. For further information about your graphic card’s chipset, please refer to your hardware documentation or contact your vendor. INCOMPATIBLE GRAPHIC CARDS No support for shared memory and onboard memory graphic cards. PROBLEMS RELATED TO SOUND CARDS GENERAL ADVICE If you should encounter any sound related problems while playing, we recommend you install the most recent drivers for your sound card. These are generally available in your sound card manufacturer’s web site. For further information, please refer to your hardware documentation or contact your vendor. UPDATING YOUR DRIVERS In order for your computer and software to function correctly you must update your drivers on a regular basis. If you should encounter problems related to GRAPHICS with TV GIANT, make sure you have the most up-to-date drivers for your graphic card before you call technical support. You can find more information by right clicking on "My Computer" in the desktop and selecting “Properties”. Select the “Device Manager” tab and click the plus sign (+) next to “Sound, video and game controllers”. The name of your graphic card will appear. Select it, click “Properties”, “Driver” and “Update Driver”. You may have to download the latest drivers from your graphic card manufacturer’s web site.
