The player can still use the keyboard and mouse to make inputs, and using the arrow keys should fix this problem. c) If the player is using a game pad and they have sensitivity set to 4 or lower then they will not be able to navigate the conversation menu's. d) When using the hiding place the player can pause the game as the animation for the box opening takes place. Doing this will result in not being able to access the hiding place. Timeskipping will fix this. e) From the POW Launcher the player has the ability to create a custom control method. If they give this a name greater than 15 characters in length the game will not boot. By deleting the options.wiv file in the POW directory the player can reset the Launcher. COMPATIBILITY ------------- a) Nvidia Riva TNT has box shadows. This can be fixed by running the game using the LOW detail setting. b) If an error message similar to the following appears during installation: "1152: Error extracting 'C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\_is8192\0x0409.ini' to the temporary location." This is caused by a full "C:\WINDOWS\TEMP" folder, please delete anything from this folder that is no longer needed and re-run the installation. c) Playing POW with the Software Vertex Processing (Set in launcher) on using Nvidia cards will cause graphical corruption. d) If you install DirectX 8.1 during the installation of POW, make sure the PC has rebooted before trying to run the game. This should happen automatically but if it does not, go to Start > Shut Down and select to restart the PC. e) Using the windows function "ALT + TAB" to exit the game will result in graphical corruption when using "ALT + TAB" to return to the game. --------------------------------------------- 5) Technical Support --------------------------------------------- Codemasters Technical Support Website: http://www.codemasters.com/contact/contact_us.php EUROPEAN SUPPORT ----------------- E-mail: custservice@codemasters.com Please include your Dxdiag.txt file with a description of your problem.
