For the ultimate experience, wear headphones on high volume while playing in a dark room (45-50% volume with headphones, 100% through speakers).

Controls:

Mouse - Look Around
WASD/Arrow Keys - Move
Left Shift - Sprint
Left Mouse Click - Pick up item
Right Mouse Click - Toggle Flashlight

TAB - Display FPS (30+ is ideal)

Change log (v1.1):
-Fixes majority of crashes upon startup

Hints:

Staring at the enemy will drain your sanity - losing your sanity will have negative effects and will likely get you killed
Sprinting will decrease your maximum stamina, so sprint only when required

FAQs

When I try to run the game, I'm asked for a password
-Make sure you extract ALL files to a folder i.e. desktop otherwise you will be asked for a password

Can I run the game in Windowed mode?
-Yes, use F7 to toggle Windowed mode

Can I run it on a Mac?
-No, and these maps will never be available on the Mac due to the game engine's DirectX dependancies.

The game runs slow for me, how can I speed it up?
-You can alter game resolution by adding width=X and height=X fields to the setup.ini file (anywhere), where X is your desired resolution. Native resolution will be used by default. The lowest recommended setting is 800 width and 600 height.

When I click launch, nothing happens
-Please download this DLL (http://www.editorempire.co.uk/slender/downloads/d3dx9_31.zip), and unzip the DLL in the ZIP file into C:/Windows/system32
