For the ultimate experience, wear headphones on high volume while playing in a dark room.

Controls:

Mouse - Look Around
WASD/Arrow Keys - Move
Left Shift - Sprint
Left Mouse Click - Pick up object/Open Door
Right Mouse Click - Enable/Disable Flashlight
Space - Drop Glowstick
TAB - Display FPS (40+ is ideal)

Hints:

Staring at the enemy will drain your sanity - losing your sanity will have negative effects and will likely get you killed
Sprinting will decrease your maximum stamina, so sprint only when required

FAQs

When I try to run the game, I'm asked for a password
-Make sure you extract ALL files to a folder i.e. desktop otherwise you will be asked for a password

Can I run the game in Windowed mode?
-No, Windowed mode is not available at this time.

Can I run it on a Mac?
-No, and these maps will never be available on the Mac due to the game engine's DirectX dependancies.

The game runs slow for me, how can I speed it up?
-You can alter game resolution by adding width=X and height=X fields to the setup.ini file (anywhere), where X is your desired resolution. You can also put postprocessing=0 and useffects=0. Native resolution will be used by default. Press TAB to view FPS.

When I click launch, nothing happens
-The cause behind this issue is currently unknown - please first try downloading and installing this version of DirectX (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=8109). If the game still will not launch for you, please email me at marcsteene@yahoo.co.uk with your computer hardware (OS, RAM, graphics card, processor) which is found by clicking start, run, typing dxdiag and pressing enter.
