Welcome to Solaris 104! This file gives you basic gameplay info and
troubleshooting tips.

Running Solaris 104
-------------------

To launch Solaris 104, double click on the file SOLARIS.EXE From Windows
Explorer.

Basic gameplay
--------------

Use the "fire" key to fire the main gun and the currently selected
secondary weapon (if any). Hold it down for autofire or stop firing
for secondary weapon energy accumulation (see yellow gauge as the
secondary weapon charges).

You get an extra ship every 25,000 points (easy mode) or every
50,000 points you make (normal mode).

Bonus 10,000 points for taking a weapon you already have and 5,000
points for taking a weapon power-up (red "S") having the maximum
possible power-up for the currently selected weapon.

You can change the currently selected weapon either by pressing the
"weapon selection" button/key or by pressing the corresponding number:

1 - Main gun only ("hides" the secondary weapon)
2 - Two-way gun
3 - Lightning bolt gun
4 - Spread gun
5 - Heat-seeking gun
6 - Phaser

Troubleshooting
---------------

If the game runs but fails to enter the first level, try selecting a
different resolution in the main menu at "video modes".
