If, after you enable EAX (audio settings) you can not hear sounds we recommend installing the latest drivers for your sound card or disable EAX (mainly integrated with the motherboard sound card). VII: FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: I can not install the game. A: Please make sure that all programs before running the installation program have been excluded (for example, some antivirus programs may interfere with proper installation of the game). A: Please copy the contents of a DVD into a folder on your hard disk, and then from that directory run setup.exe Q: Why do I get information about error messages when you start the game? A: Please make sure that the computer installed the latest drivers for your graphics card. Most are available on the official website of the manufacturer of the card. Please check out these sites: www.amd.com for ATI-AMD (we recommend the Catalyst 8.3 or higher) www.nvidia.com for nVidia cards (we recommend ForceWare 169.25 or more) A: Please make sure you've installed the DirectX 9.0c or later. If not, please install DirectX from www.microsoft.com / directx A: Please check the BIOS settings you have enabled AGP Fast Write Control is disabled and whether the option is Graphics Aperture Size is set to Minimum 64MB. A: Please make sure that all programs running in the background were excluded before the start of the game. Q: I hear the voices of the characters and ambient sounds, but I can not hear the shots. A: If you are using speaker system 4.1 or higher, please check if it is properly positioned in the sound card options. Furthermore, please try to change the system speakers to 2/2.1 and check if all the sounds are played. A: If you run do not hear any sound or sounds we hear of the latest drivers for your sound card or disable EAX (a problem mainly concerns the built-in motherboard sound cards). Q: I can not join the existing online games or other players can not see my server, why? A: Please check if you select "Refresh List" or "update list" next to the server list, click "join the game" will join a multiplayer game. A: Make sure that the router / firewall if it is running (please note that Windows XP SP2 has a built-in firewall), SPEEDWAY LEAGUE connects to the Internet. Ports must be open to a range from 28,700 to 28,900 (they may however be changed in the settings of the game server.) A: If you have two network interfaces (for example, LAN-enabled network adapter and a modem to connect to the Internet) may be necessary to disable the interface, which is not responsible for Internet access. A: Please note that both client and server must have the same version of the game to make the call (represented on the green icon before the name server). A: The server can use the maps, which are not available on the client - in this case also fails to join the game. Q: The online game is slow on my server, why? A: The general rule for creating servers for online games says that the faster the computer works as a server, the better it operates a network game. The solution is to choose a dedicated server when you start the game. This option does not allow for taking part in the game server to the holder, but it works faster server. Another thing that may affect the speed of the game network is Internet bandwidth and the number of players on the server.
