If the Autorun is on, the installation will be automatically launched. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to progress through the Installation. If the Autorun is off, right-click on the CD-ROM icon and chose "open" in the menu. Then, double-click on Setup.exe and follow the on-screen instructions to progress through the Installation. Once the installation is over, a folder "Cryo\The Shadow of Zorro" is created. You will find in this folder the icon launching The Shadow of Zorro, the icon launching on Cryo's games' demos, the link to Zorro's web site www.zorro.cryogame.com as well Cryo's web site www.cryo.fr. To launch the game when it is already installed on your computer, click on "Start", then go on "Programs", then on "Cryo" and click on "The Shadow of Zorro". To uninstall the game, click on "Start", go on "Parameters" click on "Configuration Settings". Double-click on "Add/Suppress programs", select "The Shadow of Zorro" then click on "Add/Suppress". Attacks: * Fair sword fight: simple combos to reproduce. * Other way of using the sword: stun, Zorro's signature * Combat " smart fox ": Sometimes sneaking in the back of his enemy is better than a fair fight. Zorro may also use objects to stun his enemy (bombs, potions). * The gun : Zorro uses this weapon to snipe down his enemies but beware, the noise of the shot may alert the other guards. Camera settings : 2 modes: the "adventure" camera, the "sneak" camera. Right-click to toggle between views. In "adventure" mode, the camera moves left to right, in "sneak" mode, the camera is still. Inventory ========= All the objects go in the inventory. Press the Space bar (or button on the pad) to open and close the inventory. Press Space again to quit the inventory. Three types of objects are available: (1) Weapons: sword and gun available right from the beginning. (2) Action objects such as keys, bombs Rosa. Some of these objects can only be used once. (3) Story objects: Earned by the player and available throughout the game. Interface ========= Main menu: Through this menu you may go to the different sub-menus and options and quit the game. To go to the main menu from the game, press Space. Screen: (1) The danger bar: from level 1 to 3, it shows the presence of other persons, from level 4, it shows a possible danger is around. (2) Temporary visual help: this icon shows when your objectives have been upgraded. (3) Selected weapon: this icon shows you what weapon Zorro has in his hand. (4) Combo buttons: Give the instructions to follow in order to complete the combo. Saving and Loading: "Wanted Zorro" Posters are available in all the levels. Save signing them with a Z. * Note : The interface will allow you to name your file. But you may chose them while loading. The player may select a game if he has already saved one or several games. Options : In this menu you may chose your sub-titles, the difficulty, set the volumes of the dialogues, the music and the sound.
