II: RUNNING THE GAME --------------------- Insert The Spiderwick Chronicles™ DVD into your DVD drive. If your DVD-ROM drive has Autoplay enabled, click the "Play Spiderwick" button via the launcher to begin the game. If Autoplay is disabled, double-click the "My Computer" icon (generally located on your desktop). Double-click on the DVD-ROM drive containing the game disc to begin the game. When The Spiderwick Chronicles™ is installed, there are a number of shortcuts placed in the Windows Start Menu. With the first Spiderwick disc in the DVD-ROM drive, click on the "The Spiderwick Chronicles™" shortcut to begin the game. When Spiderwick is installed, you will have the option to have a Spiderwick shortcut placed on the Windows desktop. With the The Spiderwick Chronicles™ DVD in the DVD-ROM drive, double-click on the Spiderwick icon to begin the game. Hitting "Enter" will cancel the change immediately. If you hit the "Backspace" key, your settings will be automatically saved. If this happens, it can be corrected using the solution below. Solution: Uninstall and reinstall the game to fix this issue. Save games will be kept if you choose to not uninstall the save files. * If you encounter problems remapping your input device or gamepad, please use the keyboard to play or contact your hardware manufacturer for support. * Problem: Consumers are recommended to not Alt-Tab in and out during gameplay, since this is not a supported feature. Limitations on License. Nothing in this License Agreement shall preclude you from making or authorizing the making of another copy or adaptation of the Program, provided, however, that (1) such new copy or adaptation is created as an essential step in your utilization of the Program in accordance with the terms of this License Agreement and for NO OTHER PURPOSE; or (2) such new copy or adaptation is for archival purposes ONLY and all archival copies are destroyed in the event of your Transfer of the Program, the Termination of this Agreement or other circumstances under which your continued use of the Program ceases to be rightful. 13. Miscellaneous.
