Tony Hawk's American Wasteland gives you - for the first time ever in a Hawk game - the freedom to skate, or bike, throughout a rich, expansive open environment. Once you arrive in Los Angeles, the vast city that gave birth to skate culture, the sky's the limit as you progress through the Wasteland story and choose missions that will have you immersed in the action without ever skating the same line twice! Insert Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland disc 1 into your CD-ROM drive. 2 Select Install from the window that pops up. If the window does not appear, you can bring it up by going to My Computer and double clicking the Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland disc 1 icon. 3. Follow the step-by-step instructions. The installer will install the game to your machine in the location you request. Switch out the discs when prompted to do so. 4. To play the game, double click the shortcut that has been placed on your desktop or select the Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland icon that appears in your in your start menu under Programs/Aspyr Media, Inc/Tony Hawk's American Wasteland. (3) Removal Instructions 1. Open up the Control Panel. 2. Launch Add-Remove Programs. 3. Select Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland. 4. Click Change/Remove and follow the on-screen instructions. (4) Notes (i) Software Updates For the latest up to date information on the PC version of Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, please visit Aspyr Media's website at www.aspyr.com. (ii) Game Pad Support Supported Game Pads: Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2, Logitech Dual Action, Nostromo Speedpad N52, Nostromo N45, Nostromo N50, XBOX controller through USB Adapter, Logitec Rumblepad 2. (iii) Performance Issues If you are experiencing poor performance, there are a few settings that you can adjust within the Tony Hawk's American Wasteland Launcher. If you are running on the low graphics settings and you are still experiencing poor performance, try turning off full screen anti-aliasing and high quality shadows. Additionally, you can enable distance clipping and fog may boost your performance. Trying to save or run the game without enough free hard drive space (3.5 GB) will cause problems and prevent the user from running the game. Please make sure to free up enough hard drive space to install and run the game properly. If you have problems running the game, check the amount of available hard drive space as this may be what is contributing to the problem. Please ensure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements that are listed on the bottom of the box.
