Simply insert the game CD into your CD-ROM drive and wait for a window to open prompting for installation. If Autoplay is disabled on the Win95 machine trying to install the game, go to MY COMPUTER and double click on the CD-ROM drive which has the install disk. Otherwise, from Windows Explorer, click on the Launcher.EXE icon. The CD is required to be in the install drive while playing the game. All other Windows applications must be closed down, or errors can occur. If you do not see Rants or the opening movies, you may wish to install DirectX Media. Reinstalling DirectX 6.0 using the dxsetup.exe icon found in the DirectX directory on the WCW Nitro CD. Doing this with versions of DirectX later than 6.0 will install the DirectX Media player without over-writing other later DirectX components. WCW Nitro will run well on lower then minimum systems with a high end video card installed. Troubleshooting Known Problems Inbox Microsoft Outlook may cause long installation delays and should be closed during an installation. Matrox Millennium the names of the wrestlers will disappear when the camera zooms in to the ring. Matrox Millennium when pausing the game the pause box turns white and the text is unreadable. Diamond Monster Sound M80, users may encounter problems adjusting their sound levels within the game. Minimizing Nitro may cause graphics corruption upon reentering the game. In unaccelerated mode, when wrestlers are lying near ring posts. Ring posts may appear visible through a wrestler's body. Packard Bell Celeron systems may have problems with sound configuration. Playing on slow machines may cause delayed actions with the wrestlers.
