I can’t build tanks for the marine animals? I have the animals and items from the DLC, but not the tab for tank building. Anything I can do to solve this?

Had trouble running this, and was missing marine content and DLC items. For those still struggling : The DLC for ZT2 is only able to be read by the game if it’s in the file path C:\ProgramData\Microsoft Games\Zoo Tycoon 2\downloads\zootycoon_com_zt2_1033

If you cannot see your ProgramData folder go to the View tab in File Explorer and make sure Hidden Items is checked.

If the game won’t launch or freezes: Go to zt.exe. Select Properties. Select the Compatibility tab. Select run this program in compatibility mode for ( XP OR Vista ). Good luck!

I start the zt.exe and it showed the startup and the menu for the zoo tycoon 2. but afterwards, my cursor can’t click anything. I can’t even get out from the zt.exe without doing force shut down on my pc (no use for alt+tab). does anyone know what’s wrong?

Could anybody help with installation? It is not working for me. It was complaining about lack of D3DX9_32.dll. I downloaded it but now the error says that the application cannot start. Also the document ‘how to install’ takes me to page nott found. How did people manage?
