The Archie’s gang returns from a concert tour to find their beloved hometown of Riverdale ruined! Mayor Ruskin has embezzled all the town’s money and left Riverdale in a dire state. It is up to you to help Archie and the rest of the gang restore Riverdale to its former glory. What’s more, meet all your favorite Archie’s characters as you rebuild the town. Each character has tasks to complete, interests and hobbies to pursue – with a little bit of help from you of course! Are you an Archie comic book fan!? Then you are in luck! The dialogues and comics within the game are pulled directly from original Archie Comics, so readers of the comic will find classic Archie content throughout the game!

    It’s really meant to be a mobile game so it’ll get stuck “waiting for server response” when you try to buy sodas (game currency bought with real $). Anyway, plays without issue

      I finished the game over 8 months with lots of off periods since there’s no penalty for not continuously playing and friendships/relationships btw characters don’t deteriorate, making it a very chill casual game to keep around on your PC. At level 25, the map is fully unlocked and XP now earns soda so you’ll be able to slowly unlock all the paywalled characters / costumes if you so wish. Sadly you don’t get any achievement or rewards when riverdale rating reaches 100%.

    I played this game for a week, which is a major grind because this game was originally designed with micro-transactions. And then when I restarted it today I had lost all my progression.

    I know no one cares about this (why would they) and it’s probably not worth the effort , but is there anyway I can get a modded version where I can get unlimited money, and sodas, and energy? Or if nothing else a 100% save game so I can see what Riverdale would eventually look like?

      Losing my saved progress occasionally happens to me too. To troubleshoot, go to C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\GogiiGames\ArchieRiverdaleRescue
      There should be a localstorage.txt, report.des, and *hopefully*, something like report06-08-2023_22-39-14.des which is your old save file that somehow got overwritten with the current report.des. This tends to happen to my PC somehow when ext hard disks are connected and I launch the game.
      If so, delete localstorage.txt and rename the old report.des to ‘report.des’, and restart game. that should do the trick.

      Somehow my angle brackets got eaten up in the comment. You’ll want to go to C:\Users\ —your PC username— \AppData\Roaming\GogiiGames\ArchieRiverdaleRescue and rename the report-olddate_time.des to just ”report.des”
