FAQ

Are games listed on your website copyright-free?

Games listed on OldGamesDownload.com are abandonware, which means they are no longer being sold or supported by the original developers or publishers. There is no clear definition of abandonware, and in some cases, these games might be resold again through distributors such as Steam of GOG. We take copyright owner complaints very seriously and promptly remove games which game owners don’t want listed on our website. To learn more about Abandonware, you can read the Wikipedia article here. If you are a copyright owner and want your game removed, send us a message here.

All downloads offered on our website have been checked and verified by our team to be virus-free. Files will be hosted on our own servers, or in some cases on MEGA or Dropbox servers. We do not distribute malware and never will.
