Game Description

Armies of Exigo is a real-time strategy video game for Microsoft Windows. The game was developed by Black Hole Entertainment, published by Cinergi Interactive and distributed by Electronic Arts. One unique aspect of the game is that it has an underground mode. This makes the game more challenging as the player has to work on two fronts and might have an army come from an unexpected area.

  1. The release works. During installation it will require mounting and remounting disk images. One must know how to do this for their system. For GNU/Linux I first needed to convert disk images to *.iso using `iat` program, then mount them normally with `mount` when installation wizard prompts for it.

I recommend patching the game to version 1.4 from 1.0b that is offered in this release. Note that patch breaks save files. Hence why I recommend patching before playing.

    • The crack for the game is stored in the first disk image. Mount the disk image or unpack it. Open it in the file browser. You should see installation files like Autorun, setup, etc. Among them there will be a directory called “Crack/”. In the directory there is an executable. Overwrite the installed game executable with this one.

  4. I remember this from beta, I actually asked the devs if the beta would shut down once the game was released. The answer was a hard yes that never really happened, as you could easily bypass the early test versions cd protection without even cracking it and basically had the full game. What was the difference between the beta and the full release? Nothing, they were the same copy with different build stamps. You might even say the released product was worse than the test product.

    • WARNING: Do not play the game on Hard mode. Even with cheats you will rage quit on missions where enemy AI can mass summon units. I learn that the hard way. You don’t unlock anything for playing hard. You can change difficulty any time. The mission has a select screen.

  7. @ everyone Try opening CD 1 and looking for Folder “crack” there. Replace .exe file in ur installation path with the .exe in “crack” on the CD1

  8. Use powerISO to extract both of the cd files and click “extract here”, then click the setup on cd1 and it should start working for window 10 users
