Armies of Exigo is a real-time strategy video game for Microsoft Windows. The game was developed by Black Hole Entertainment, published by Cinergi Interactive and distributed by Electronic Arts. One unique aspect of the game is that it has an underground mode. This makes the game more challenging as the player has to work on two fronts and might have an army come from an unexpected area.

You need an Disk mount emulator, like WinCDEmu. The .bin files in CD1 and CD2 folders are the disks. Open the first .bin file with the WinCDEmu and mount it. Run the set-up. Follow the instructions. When it ask for CD2 eject and mount the other .bin file. Always mount from the say source, for example ‘V:’. Grab the 1.4 patch and the cd keys from https://www.myabandonware.com/game/armies-of-exigo-f3n#download .It’s a site from abandoned games like this one. Use the cd (copy from txt and paste when asked) and run the .exe for the 1.4 patch. Final step download hd support mod from https://www.moddb.com/games/armies-of-exigo/addons/armies-of-exigo-resolution-1920×1080 .Copy every file from it and replace (paste) in the directory of Armies of Exigo in your pc. You are good to go! Enjoy the game. Run it from either the shortcut or exigo.exe

If you wish to improve almost all your older game titles, you can try using dgVoodoo2. With custom config you could run different resolutions, since rendering is done through their dx wrapper.
