Black & White is a god video game developed by Lionhead Studios and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows in 2001 and by Feral Interactive in 2002 for Mac OS.

Black & White is a role-playing game unlike any you’ve played before. You take the role of a deity in a land where the surroundings are yours to shape and its people are yours to lord over. Be an evil, malevolent god and the natives will worship you with fear in their eyes. Play as a kind, benevolent god and they will worship you with love in their hearts. Your actions decide whether you create a heaven or hell for your worshipers. Then select a creature from the land to act as your representative in the world. Raise it to gigantic proportions and teach it to do your bidding–whether the animal grows into an evil colossus of mass destruction or a kind and gentle giant is up to you. Progress through the game’s rich storyline performing powerful miracles to battle other deities and become the world’s supreme god.

    Hi, I’m unsure how to use the NoCD Fixes file to fix the Wrong CD issue when opening the game. Can anyone help?

    Downloaded the game and everything went just fine; loads up fine, plays great (with greater frames than the CD version I remember playing, honestly) and never crashes. But there’s one problem: no matter how I save the game, either using the save room or keyboard command or such, the my gameplay is never retained and when I exit the game and relaunch, it starts me over at the beginning cinematic, as though I hadn’t just played several hours. Help? I remember having to do something with my .dll files last time I downloaded from here, but can’t remember or find anything helpful. Help~!

      Das sollte ein proplem mit der system berechtigung sein hatte ich auch mal mit der cd version damals. Ggf prüfen ob du es als Admin ausführst. tust du das ggf prüfen ob das system es verhindert das das spiel schreibt im system

    I am trying to install but it is telling me i am missing a number of .dll files.

    I have checked if they are quarantined by my antivirus but there is nothing there.

    hello, for some reason it does not work for me also.
    i instaled the game normaly and pasted the runblack 1.3 in the game file folder and when i run it, it does not work. what am i doing wrong? or do i need something more?

    i am struggling to work this? i have downloaded the zip files, however, cannot find the run part? not letting me start the game

        One who lives in glass house should not throw stones. And in your case, find a mirror since you feel so entitled Mr. Professor to label someone for having a legit question. Not everyone is born with a genius IQ and knows how to download old games and successful get them to play via zip file. I know it’s easier to be a cold hearted jerk, but do try to be an adult.         I don’t have any exe-files (but maybe the file extension doesn’t show – I am not used to the old Windows). When I click the Runblack file or the desktop icon it seems to start some process but immediately closes it – though no error anymore about “no CD”
