    I have the generals and zero hour complete install on my win 7.
    The game runs normal on solo play, but when I try to play online(zero hour), it ask me to download the 65540_65536_english.rtp. Where I can download this file. Please help!

      Hey, sadly it doesn’t work, I’ve tried it myself, but there’s another way to play it online! Download the program at https://www.gameranger.com/, it’s a program you can play on it online games, follow what they say, when you’re done and it opened, you’ll this: https://imgur.com/a/0CzAdGm then open that list, you’ll find something named ” New Group… ” write the group name whatever you like, example ” C&C Generals “, search for the game name, in your case search for ” Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour ” when you add the mark on it, it will mark the ” Command & Conquer Generals: ShockWave ” but it nothing to worry about, or ” Command & Conquer Generals “, and then join a room it will ask to browse where is Generals Zero Hour or Generals… and done!

    when i luanch the game, it keeps saying that it needs directx 8.1 or higher or check my video card, but i have 12.0 and there is nothing wrong with my video card. What do i do ????

        Guys that’s the resolution of the game lmao, it happend to me
        Go to
        DocumentsCommand and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data
        or
        DocumentsCommand and Conquer Generals Data
        The one which it’s making that issue, open the file “Options.ini”, you’ll find something named as Resolution exactly at the 15th line, there should be numbers, make them 800 600 or get your screen resolution and write it as you like, if you wrote a unlisted resolution at your DirectX the game won’t work and it will give you the error:”it needs directx 8.1 or higher”
