Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (sometimes known as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in the United States) is an action-adventure video game with platform elements published by Electronic Arts. It is based on J.K Rowling’s novel of the same name and the film adaptation. Philosopher’s Stone was initially developed for the Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, Microsoft Windows and PlayStation in November 2001, and was re-made two years later for the GameCube, PlayStation 2 and Xbox in December 2003.

How to play on Windows – Method 1
- Download and extract Harry_Potter_and_the_Philosophers_Stone_Win_Files_En.7z
- Open the “Game Files” folder and double click on “HPlauncher.exe” and the game should launch
- If you get any errors, right click the launcher, go to “Properties>Compatibility” and select “Windows XP (service pack 2)”. Also select “Run as administrator”. Click on “Apply” and then “Ok”. Then try launching the game.
How to play on Windows – Method 2
- Download and extract Harry_Potter_and_the_Philosophers_Stone_Win_ISO_En.7z and mount the .iso file
- Run the game setup by running “Autorun.exe” as an administrator (right click>run as administrator) and insert the following game key:
1504-1879151-5021411-5309 - Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the game setup.
- Once Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone has finished installed, you can launch the game using the desktop shortcut.
- If you get any errors, then download the Windows 10 fix file and drag the contents into your game’s installation directory. By default, this will be C://Program Files x86/EA Games/Harry Potter TM. Confirm you want to replace the files in the destination. Then right click the desktop shortcut for Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, go to “Properties>Compatibility” and select “Windows XP (service pack 2)”. Also select “Run as administrator”. Click on “Apply” and then “Ok”

I’m super glad I found this site. I grew up playing these games 1-3 on the pc. It was absolutely magic to me as a kiddo and now I can get my 4 year old on and let him have some of the awesome experiences I had!! My windows 7 (AVG) told me it was a trojan.. saw with chamber of secrets. I went through each file manually bro there’s nothing malicious in these files. It also runs flawless on my windows XP laptop off my USB.
I don’t know why it’s triggering my antivirus but it’s definitely safe and appreciated by me and my little family

Method 1 (PC Version) got trojans. Don’t download this
Method 2 (PC Version) is fine. I could finish this game without any issues!
Files are picking up a Trojan, double scanned with antivirus to make sure it wasn’t a false positive (as Windows is prone to doing). CoS and PoA’s uploads don’t have this same issue. I would reccomend not downloading the Windows version of Sorcerer’s Stone until the files are changed from the current ones.
my pc picked up a trojan when i tried to download this :/
I downloaded everything and clicked on the app. A window pops up that asks me to confirm changes to my computer I say yes and nothing happens. I tried the instructions provided but I’m not super tech savvy so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I’m having trouble getting running this game, I click on the app and a window shows up asking if I want to let this program make changes to my computer and I say yes. After that nothing happens. I’m not super computer savvy so the instructions are a little confusing to me, any help?
My Harry just keeps walking forward as soon hes out of a cutscene, i can only control left and right movement-

Clicked HP Launcher exe and it will not open. It asks for which application to use? This is on a MacBook.
Mac can’t open .exe files. That’s a Windows executable file.

um there is no Hplauncher, after extracting it there will be one named as “Game” and i will have a logo of owl
