Game Description

Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events is a platform video game based on the Lemony Snicket book series and the 2004 film of the same name. The game is based primarily on the film, which in turn is based on the plots of the first three books of the series: The Bad Beginning, The Reptile Room and The Wide Window. Players take the roles of Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire, solving puzzles, fighting villains and finding objects. Players encounter characters such as Mr. Poe, Uncle Monty and Aunt Josephine, along with villains such as Count Olaf, the Hook-Handed Man, the White-Faced Women, and the Bald Man With the Long Nose.

    When I am playing the level where you play as Klaus and you’re climbing up the tower to save Sunny, the sliding doors in the beginning of the level would not open even when you hear it opening when you’re get close to it. Is there a way that any of you can help me out in this situation?

    Ive installed the game and im able to run it, but i cant get it to fill my screen. the largest i can get it to go is a small square in the center of the screen. can someone help me get it to be full screen?

    there is one issue in this game, when you get to the library in Olaf’s mansion there is a secret room with a ladder you need to climb in order to progress, the bottom half of the ladder is invisible but still climbable until you get to the visible half of the ladder then it doesnt let you climb any further up. please fix this.

    One last thing – did anyone else notice that Lemony Snicket is voiced by Tim Curry in this version??? I never noticed as a kid so it came as a sort of serendipitous shock 😀

    I believe that all of the other characters (except Uncle Monty and maybe Aunt Josephine) are played by the actors from the movie – yes, including Jim Carry as Olaf.

    Update: I got the game to run by going to My PC – the downloads were listed as their own drives. It was Odd, but simply clicking them would complete the install and the games runs fine, so hoorah!

    Hello! A friend and I each tried to download this game, from both PlayStation and Windows version, but the game file seems to be the wrong type. It is a Disc Image File, and when we click it sends an error message that says “Sorry, couldn’t mount the file.” It is the only icon in the Game Files folder.
