Weapons and betting
Weapons
You will have to fight a lot during the game. There
are a lot of means to dispose of your enemies. In
general, all the weapons can be divided in two groups –
melee and ranged.
Melee weapons are represented by axes, crowbars, pipes,
bats and the like.
Ranged weapons are pistol, shotgun and submachinegun.
Only submachinegun is capable of burst fire.
13
Sneak attack
You can complete almost the entire game without
enemies noticing you. When you see an eye icon (icon
2, pic. 2), you can be sure that your enemies won’t
notice you. In this state you can quietly sneak up on
your enemy and kill him silently by strangling him,
cutting his throat or using your melee weapon. When
you see a fist icon (pic. 8), press the left mouse
button to perform a silent kill. Light sources, such
as flashlights or flying cams can give you out to the
enemies, so be careful.
Guarding
By default, you can guard using the right mouse
button. When you see that you are about to be hit,
press the button to guard. Your character will perform
a guard move if you timed the press correctly. You can
press and hold the guard button to back off from an
enemy or to plan your next action. Guarding can save
your life, don’t neglect it.
14
Charging attacks
The longer you hold the attack button, the more
powerful your strike will be. You can combine charged
attacks with guard moves to make up a winning strategy
in fights.
Betting system
During the game you can place bets and win money by
performing specific actions.
You can place bets using “Place bets” screen of your PDA.
Types of bets:
1. Enemy will be killed by a headshot or a blow to
the head.
