1. Background
If you happen to be a millionair, there are plenty of private clubs to chose from. There are clubs for golfand tennisplayers, clubs for sportcars-collectors, clubs for antique lovers.. but there is one particlar club
that is even more exclusive than the most exclusive club known to mankind: The White Aces club.
The "White Aces Club" only has four (living) members, and they only meet once a month on a secret
location, but it's the most wanted club amongst young and thrill-seeking millionaires. The current
members are: "Ace of Spades" (Harry), "Ace of Diamons" (Bob), "Ace of Hearts" (Slayer), and the Ace of
Clubs: You.
Every month a dare-devil challenge is held for the members of White Aces, and this month it's time for a
crazy and dangerous "ride of death". The four members will be dropped in a car on one of the highest,
most dangerous mountains in the Alps. The goal is simple: Finish first, and try to survive during the race.
Can you stay alive and finish first place in this ride of death? Race your way down this mountain at
incredible speed, but watch our for the competitors who will attack you with rockets, machineguns, mines,
and much more! The mountainpolice is also present and can hardly wait to open fire from their MD-500
helicopters or to smash your car into pieces with their 4WD Terrain-Grummers.

Just switch the "input device" option (left or right arrow, or mouseclick, to change option) from keyboard to
steeringhweel. If you have a Logitech or Trust steeringhweel, you will have correct predefined settings.
Unlike other steeringwheel brands, Logitech and Trust steeringwheels are well-tested and supported by
Glacier. Note that there are some new options available when you select a steeringwheel: level of
forcefeedback and sensitivity.
In case of any problems with your steeringwheel, please refer to the manual of your steeringwheel or the
windows - configurationscreen - game input devices screen.

Notes on system requirements:
It's very important to have a good videocard installed in your machine. There are a lot of cheap
videocards for sale, which are often have extensions like "mx" or "le". Such 'budget' cards often display
visual errors in many games, or suffer from bad performance in high performance games. We have done
our best effort on supporting all of these cards, but in case you still suffer from bad performance, please
refer to the video-options section in this manual. Also, make sure you always update your videocard
drivers once a month. New videocard drivers will decrease visual errors and increase performance for all
DirectX games.
