Tips and Tactics:
Q: How do I get the best score?
-

Select clothes that match the clothing style requested in the text above the
model.
Choose clothes from the rack and place them on the model. You can always
change them if you don’t like how they look.
When the model is fully dressed, send her out on the runway.

Q. How do power ups work?
Power ups, such as “Swap Styles”, provide you with extended time or additional
points, or replenish your clothing. Use them wisely as you only get a limited
amount!

Q. How does Photo Mode work?
In this mode, the player takes on the role of Avett, a successful photographer for
Fashion Wear Daily. His assignment is to find men and women on the street and
take their photos for the Lookbook section. Each week, Avett is tasked with finding
people of various looks. He must pinpoint women on the street who best capture the
look and snap photos of them to bring in to his editor.
Click on one of the three styles at the top of the screen, then scroll right and left to
find the best dressed model for a match. Make sure the picture is properly framed
over the model or you will lose points. You only have a limited amount of film so use
it wisely.
Q. What are Model Pairs?
Model pairing allows you to send out multiple models at once. When you have 2 or
more models dressed, click the Model Pairs buttons at the top right of the screen and
watch your models strut their stuff.
Q. How do I get the Signature Outfit bonus?
The Signature Outfit bonus is awarded when you exactly match a signature outfit for
the level. Look for the Signature Outfit panel on the left of your screen.
When you construct a Signature Outfit, a star will appear over that outfit in the
Signature Outfit panel.
Troubleshooting:
Q: Why does Jojo’s Fashion Show™ 2: Las Cruces crash or fail to run?
A: Usually this is because your system does not meet the minimum requirements of
Jojo’s Fashion Show™ 2: Las Cruces.
1 - Make sure you have the minimum system requirements listed below:
- Windows 2000/XP/Vista
- Pentium 4 or better
- 512 MB RAM
- HD Space of 70 MB or more
- Monitor Resolution Width 800 or better
- Monitor Resolution Height 600 or better
- DirectX 7 or better
2 - Make sure that you have the most current video card drivers installed. To find the
most current video card drivers for your system, try running Windows Update which
can be found in your "START" menu, or under "START > All Programs".
3 - Ensure that you have the most current version of DirectX installed on your
system. To get the most current version of DirectX, go to
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.aspx and follow the on-screen
instructions. When you are prompted to SAVE/OPEN the file, choose OPEN and

proceed through the installation. After you have installed DirectX, reboot your
computer, then make sure you are connected to the Internet and try running the
game again.
4 – It is possible that Hardware Acceleration is failing somehow. You can try to
reduce Hardware Acceleration as follows: Open Display Properties by right-clicking
on an open space on your desktop and then choosing Properties. Then click the
Settings tab in the upper right. Next click the Advanced… button near the lower
right. Now click on the Troubleshooting tab. Slide the Hardware acceleration slider
all the way to the left. Click OK and then try running the game again. If the game
now runs, you should repeat this operation and slide the slider one step higher each
time trying to find the highest setting where the game still runs. You can also try to
reduce the Colors bit-depth to 16-bit on the Display Properties, Settings tab.
If the above steps don’t resolve your issue, it’s possible that your computer may not
have the correct configuration to run the game. The amount of memory, hard disk
space or operating system you are running may prevent you from using your game
correctly.
Here are a couple more steps that you can try:
1 - Delete the following files in your Jojo’s Fashion Show™ 2: Las Cruces folder.
NOTE: Deleting these files will remove any saved player settings and locations
previously earned, as well as the player files.
Try running the game again.
2 - If any other file is corrupted or missing, you will have to uninstall and reinstall
the game.
Q: My trial period has expired. Can I extend it?
A: Unfortunately, trial periods cannot be extended. We apologize if you did not get
an opportunity to fully experiment with Jojo’s Fashion Show™ 2: Las Cruces
before the expiration of your trial period. At this point, you must purchase the game
to continue playing, or perhaps the game is available in an ad-supported free format.
Q: I am having Audio problems. What can I do?
A: There may be conflicts between DirectX and many older sound cards. Often,
updating your sound card drivers will fix audio problems. Check with your
manufacturer for the latest drivers.
Q: Why does the Jojo’s Fashion Show™ 2: Las Cruces screen not update
properly when regaining focus from another window?
A: If you are running a program that uses video overlays, such as a TV application,
you may see this problem. The solution is to either turn off the TV while playing
Jojo’s Fashion Show™ 2: Las Cruces or live with this minor annoyance.
