INSTALLING THE GAME
Launch Windows 95.
Place MAD-TRAX CD in your CD-ROM drive.
The installation program should
appear on the screen automatically. If
this does not happen, double-click on
the setup program on the CD-ROM.
Click on INSTALL in the menu.
Choose the right configuration for your
system and click on OK. The higher the
level of the installationyou choose, the
greater the amount of space the game
will take up on your hard disk, but you will
have faster access to the various menus
When installation is complete, you may
need t o reboot the computer. Once you
have done so, to launch MAD-TRAX simply
select Project Two / MAD-TRAX / Play
MAD-TRAX in the Windows task bar.

To Navigate into Menu Screen
Press LeftIRiqM arrow keys.
To Enter a Menu,

LEAGUE
In this mode you can play any track but
you will only be ranked in the Best Laps'
Records.
In this mode the player must compete for
a full season (20 races). The points
acquired in Leapue Mode are accumulated
from one race to the next; the driver who
has gathered most points over the 20
races becomes MAD-TRAX Champion.
Points are allocated for each position
after a race as follows:
1st
2nd
3rd
4th
5th
6th
7th
8th
15 points
11 points
8 points
6 points
3 points
2 point
1 point
0 points!
(*I If the player scores the maximum
number of points in one season (being
ranked first on each track), a last
challenge might be available...!

Press Up/Down arrow keys to
Select a League if any.
Press ENTER once Selected.
Press ESC to return to League
Menu Screen.
New Leaaue
Select a Track using LeftlRIqht
arrow keys.
Press ENTER when ready
Continue racing in the current
League!
Enter tne Name of the League you
want to create.
Press ENTER once Done.
In this Mode you race against time.
Select a Track using Left/Rlqht
arrow keys.
Press Enter when ready!

Select a Leaque if any.
Press Enter to Delete the Selected
Leaque.
Press ESC t i return to Leaque Menu
Screen.
Hall Of Fame
View Ranklnq Screen for the current
League.
Press ESC to return to Leaque Menu
Screen.
In Duel Mode you can play in Two Players
Split Screen Mode.
1 Select a Track using Left/Rlqht
arrow keys.
2 Press Enter when ready.
3 Start Racing!

Select a Track using LeftIRight
arrow keys.
Press Enter when ready

Weapons are displayed on the tracks and
you must drive over to pick them up and be
able to use them.
You can only use one of them at a time and
only the last one you picked up is used.
Missiles
Some are auto-guided while others fly
straight ahead.
Use LeftIRight arrow keys to modify
each parameter.
Use UpIDown arrow keys to go to the
next parameter.
