IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS GETTING THE GAME TO WORK PROPERLY, PLEASE READ
THIS DOCUMENT COMPLETELY!
There are some configuration options available which will help overcome various hardware
incompatibilities. To get to these configuration options, follow the instructions below. Read
through the symptoms below so you can make a decision as to which configuration options
to check or un-check. Also, make sure you visit our web site and dowload the latest game
update.
1) Insert the CD-ROM.
2) When the splash screen appears, click on Configure. Refer to symptoms/solutions below
for configuration options.
3) Once you have checked/un-checked the appropriate options, click on OK then click on
Play.
SYMPTOM

The game plays, but sometimes crashes.
SOLUTION

Un-check DirectSound.
If you have a 16-bit sound card,
check 16-bit sound.
If you have an 8-bit sound card,
check 8-bit sound.
The game starts, but then locks up.
Un-check DirectSound.
If you have a 16-bit sound
check 16-bit sound.
If you have an 8-bit sound car
check 8-bit sound.
Graphics appear to be shifted off-screen.
Un-check WinDirect, check DirectDraw
Graphics are discolored.
Un-check WinDirect, check DirectDraw
Get an MGL Fatal Graphics error when game
is started.
Un-check WinDirect, check DirectDraw
