You need to install the missing d2dx9_26.dll driver. Many tutorials are found on google. You can search for and follow these tutorials. Happy gaming!
after downloading then how do you install
extract the zip file then run the setup that is located in the game files folder in the location that you extracted the zip.

This site made my day… I just bought my first personal laptop. The first thing I did was search ‘How to download and play NFS MW’ and this page was in the top suggestions. Within 15 mins, I was back again playing the game which I spent hours on, on my desktop. Thnk you so much!

Because you did not install it into the correct file location. You must have the d3dx9_26.dll file re-located in your NFS MW 2005 Game File.
