-------------------------
GENERAL FISHING TIPS:
-------------------------
The game is centered around Tournament fishing where time is critical,
so seven rods are fully set up with line, reel and lure before
fishing (you can use the defaults). This saves time by not having to
change lures while on the lake.
To cast, bring out the casting target by clicking the TARGET button or
clicking the right mouse button. Move the target to the spot you
want to cast to and set the target by clicking the left mouse button.
Hit the CAST button or click the left mouse button to start the cast. When the cast is done, hit the
left mouse button to start reeling. When reeling, if a fish strikes your
lure, you must Set the Hook by quickly pulling back the mouse. If you set
the hook in time, you are in a fish fight. When fighting a fish,
moving the mouse up and down will have the effect of raising or lowering
the fishing pole and putting more or less pressure on the fish and the
line. Moving the mouse up and down while holding the right mouse button will
tighten or loosen the drag. The Plus and Minus keys will also adjust the drag.
To get an underwater view, press U after casting and watch your lure travel
through the water from the initial reeling, all the way through the fish
fight.

MPLAYER:
-------------------------
Click on the MPlayer icon to install Mplayer. Game will be accessable from Mplayer.com.
-------------------------
TROUBLESHOOTING:
-------------------------
The game is compatible with most fully supported Direct3D video cards or
accelerators, which have full 3D capabilities, and at least 4 MG of VRAM.
However, the game is optimized to run best on 3dfx cards.
The following are known problems with hardware:
ATI - there are problems running the game accelerated on the ATI
3d Rage II chip, so machines using these cards will support
software rendering only (unless another supported 3d accelerator is
present)
NETWORK PLAY - trouble has been detected at times during a 6 person
IPX network game with mixed Win95 and Win98 machines.
- if trouble occurs when running an IPX game, be sure
that NetBios is enabled on all machines running the game.
See you Win95 documentation.
NOTE - all other Win95/98 programs must be shut down before running Bass Masters
Classic, or problems may occur; in particular, Windows Memory
Managers will conflict with Direct X and cause the game to crash
