IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please note that the settings in Help Options can only be changed in the front end menu and not by using the function keys as listed in the manual.

In order to run Castrol Honda Superbike 2000 you will need to have Direct X Version 6.1 or higher installed. You can install this from the CD.

IF YOU EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS RUNNING THE GAME

Ensure that you have the latest drivers for your video card.

If you have an old version of Castrol Honda on your PC first remove it using ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS (START MENU/CONTROL PANEL) and then delete the directory it was installed to (e.g. PROGRAM FILES/IEL). It is important you do a clean install as old files may make the game malfunction.

Also make sure you are using the latest drivers for your mouse. You will need Win95 drivers - if you are using old Win 3.x drivers you may have a problem.

CHANGING THE DEFAULT 3D GRAPHICS CARD

If you have more than one 3d accelerator card and would like to change which card the game uses, edit the config.dat file in your install directory (using a text editing program such as notepad). Remove the semi-colon from the line ';ChooseDevice=true'. When you next run the game, you will be given the option to choose which accelerator card is used.

USING 3D SOUND

If you have a 3D sound card you can turn on 3D sound by editing the config.dat file in your install directory. Change the line "use3dsound=false" to say "use3dsound=true".
